包裹丢失 ​

遇到包裹丢失的情况如何应对

案例描述 ​

在美国网购商品后，商家发货后，包裹在运输途中丢失，买家没有收到包裹。

案例1: 植村秀包裹丢失 ​

受害者(以下简称“我”)在植村秀官网下单了两支眉笔、一个粉饼和一瓶定妆喷雾。包裹寄出后能在官网查到追踪信息，但是只显示运送地点，显示是一家叫Pandion的非主流快递公司。

我住在纽约的一栋公寓大楼，理论上所有的包裹会由公寓大楼前台的守门员统一签收后放在快递柜，同时通知住户取件码，用户在公寓的快递柜通过取件码领取包裹。但是意外发生了，我的包裹送到当天，公寓的守门员据说是第一天上班，让快递员直接上楼把包裹投递到公寓单位门口，快递员把包裹放在了门口没有敲门也没有电话或短信通知，男人，什么罐头我说？虽然收到了由植村秀官方发来的包裹送达通知的邮件，但我当时还是在等公寓发邮件通知取包裹，因为经常会发生快递公司虽然显示送到，但是公寓的守门员还在按照公寓门牌号分拣几十个包裹的情况。然而直到晚上我依然没有等到公寓通知，只能去找守门员大叔核对，大叔在控制中心奋力查找了半天也没有找到，翻找的时候我突然发现了一封快递公司邮件，里面带有包裹和门牌号合照的照片。他看完照片后直接瘫在了椅子上，沉默好久，说快递员不应该上楼送件，所有包裹都应该在一楼登记，由前台工作人员负责处理和通知。

I hope this message finds you well.

I am writing to bring to your attention an issue regarding a package that was reportedly delivered to my apartment 
yesterday but appears to be missing. According to the email notification from the sender, the package was delivered 
around a:bb pm. I did not receive any communication from the front desk by the end of the day, prompting me to inquire 
directly with the building staff. Unfortunately, they were not aware of this delivery.

Further complicating matters, the carrier has provided photographic evidence that the package was indeed delivered to the entrance of my apartment unit. However, I have not been able to locate the package at my door or in the vicinity.

I understand that our building policy requires all packages to be logged and managed by the front desk staff, and I have been compliant with this procedure. Given this situation, I would greatly appreciate your assistance in helping to locate the lost package.
